Presentations by researchers of the Institute of Higher Education of the NAES of Ukraine at the Exhibition “Contemporary Educational Institutions – 2025″

From March 26 to 28, 2025, the 16th International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions” was held online. The event was organized by “Exhibition World” with informational, methodological, and organizational support from the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Educational Content Modernization.”

As part of the exhibition, on March 26, the 6th All-Ukrainian Intersectoral Scientific-Practical Online Conference titled “Ukrainian Society in Development Perspectives: Historical, Socio-Political, and Educational-Pedagogical Aspects” took place. During the plenary session, Iryna Drach, Director of the Institute of Higher Education at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, presented a report titled “Open Science in Ukraine: Relevance and Benefits.”

On March 27, a seminar titled “Development of Modern Universities: The Synergy of Transformations in Higher Education, Science, and Economy” was conducted by researchers from the Institute of Higher Education at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Employees of the Department of Social and Institutional Transformations in Higher Education –­ Yuriy Melkov, Alla Havryliuk, Yuriy Vitrenko, and Viktoriia Vorona – shared their vision of a modern higher education institution. They addressed topics such as philosophical and axiological foundations of its development, priority areas of state policy in higher education, new demands on graduates, transformations of the organizational-legal statuses of institutions, and the essence and forms of transformative activities for community and regional development.

The presentations were based on findings from a scientific study titled “Development of Universities in the Context of Post-War Recovery: The Synergy of Social and Institutional Transformations in Higher Education, Science, and Economy,” conducted by the Department of Social and Institutional Transformations in Higher Education at the Institute of Higher Education (2024–2025)
