On October 5, 2026, at the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine there was a meeting between academic staff and the candidate for the position of Director of the Institute, Iryna Ivanivna Drach.

The candidate presented a brief report on the results of her work during her previous term as Director (2021–2026) and outlined her action plan for the next five years. In particular, she outlined the Institute’s strategic development priorities and the ways of their implementation across such key areas, as research and research-related organizational activities, expert and international engagement, and educational activities. Special attention was paid to staff retention and development, the enhancement of organizational culture, and ensuring financial stability amidst wartime conditions.

Following the presentation and a Q&A session, the research staff discussed the candidate’s proposed program.
