ELA conference – European dimension of education in Ukraine of the future. Kyiv,-Lviv, December 18-20, 2025

The European Association of Educational Law and Policy (ELA) together with Ukrainian partners – the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is holding an international conference “European Dimension of Education in Ukraine of the Future”. The main objective of the conference is to prepare Ukraine for joining European education and research area.

The following issues are planned to be discussed.

1. The right to education.
2. European dimension of the development of Ukrainian education. Education as cornerstone for the accessing procedure to EU
3. Education and the formation of high-quality human capital.
4. Post-war development of education on a modern legal and technological basis.
5. Education for refugees.
6. Freedom of education and freedom in education.
7. Confessional schools and state schools.

Parallel sessions are also planned.

B. Vocational non-tertiary education
C. Higher education.

The conference will be held at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on December 18-19 and at the Ukrainian Catholic University on December 20.
Abstracts of presentation submitted before December 10 will be published.
Working languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English.
One can participate the conference in person or online.
Speakers will be given the opportunity to publish materials of their presentations in scientific journals of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and in the International Journal for Education Law and Policy Association.
